Sophie, a chaotic teenager, is always losing everything—even her thumb or her arm! But really, she’s just a totally normal girl with an overly perfect best friend and, of course, a boy named Cedric she has a crush on. But how is she supposed to win him over when she’s so uncool? Her family certainly isn’t helping. Her siblings are a constant nuisance, her dad wants to play a weird board game with her, and her mom is stressed out from work. No wonder Sophie, with all this stress, just needs some time to herself—so she creates her own dream island where she gets to call the shots. If only it weren’t for that weird lost-and-found office somewhere in the middle of nowhere—where she can get her lost items back, but has to search for them for so long that she could easily catch a cold. Luckily, there’s Cedric, who brings her homework. But what if Sophie finds out that her so-called best friend secretly has a crush on Cedric too and is actually just pretending that Sophie really matters to her and that her weird family can be normal sometimes?
