"The New Stuttgart" is the fourth and final part of the series "Stuttgart's History in 100 Objects", which presents the complete history of Stuttgart in four special exhibitions as a great journey through time from prehistoric times to the present day. The special exhibition uses 25 special objects and historical photographs to guide visitors through the city's defining events and upheavals between 1918 and 2010 - from the November Revolution to the protests surrounding Stuttgart 21.

The title "The New Stuttgart" refers to a self-image that shaped the city, especially in the 1920s - as a place of democratic, architectural and educational reform. At the same time, the exhibition highlights ruptures and contradictions: from the Nazi era and colonial entanglements to migration, protest and diversity in the present day.
