The Stauffenberg memorial in the archive building of the Old Palace in Stuttgart is dedicated to Berthold and Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg. Both paid for their resistance against Hitler with their lives in 1944. Together with their brother Alexander, Berthold and Claus grew up in the Old Palace. Their father held the office of Chief Court Marshal there until the revolution, while their mother was a confidante of Queen Charlotte. The exhibition describes the brothers' lives from their childhood and youth, through their careers in the civil service and the military, which were characterized by a sense of duty, to their resistance against Hitler's criminal policies. The exhibition was developed and realized by the Haus der Geschichte on behalf of the Landesstiftung.
Special educational tours are offered for school classes.
