Der Krieg und wir – Abschluss der Filmreihe „Stuttgart im Zweiten Weltkrieg“

Between mid-March and the beginning of June 2025, the film project "Stuttgart in the Second World War" by Stuttgarter Zeitung, Stuttgarter Nachrichten and Stadtarchiv will be showing previously little-known moving images from the years 1941 to 1944.

After 14 films, three events and around 50 text contributions, the evening at the Stadtpalais will round off the series - and ask about the significance of the images for life in 2025, the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

Alongside representatives of the project partners, film director Joachim A. Lang and Stadtpalais exhibition director Dr. Yannick Nordwald will discuss the role of propaganda and how the images and impressions from the war film chronicle influence our perception of Stuttgart today.
