Francis Fukuyama, born in Chicago in 1952, published the bestseller “The End of History” in 1992, which brought him international fame. Fukuyama is one of the most significant political theorists of our time. He has published numerous books on U.S. politics; he is currently a professor of political science at Stanford University.
