The titular crime scene cleaner Heiko "Schotty" Schotte had already had encounters of a particularly professional kind at last year's mittendrin festival. While the living people engage Schotty in discussions, he resolutely wipes, scrubs and cleans away the remnants of human existence, with an after-work beer in sight. - Schotty is simply a guy who says what he thinks. The fact that he often touches and changes lives in the process is more of a collateral benefit.

Under the direction of Marion Schneider-Bast, the Reutlingen Theater is bringing four more episodes from the "Tatortreiniger" cosmos of Mizzi Meyer, alias playwright Ingrid Lausund, to the stage. As a television series, "Der Tatortreiniger" is cult - as an evening at the theater, it's a must-see.
