die apokalyptischen tänzerin*nen
- Location:
- Renitenztheater, Büchsenstr. 26, 70174 Stuttgart
There's nothing to laugh about, so let's laugh ourselves to death. An evening between thigh-slappers and serious satire* (from the Latin satura (lanx) 'fruit bowl offered to the gods every year' (source: DWDS)) - true to the meaning of the word, a colorful fruit basket of sweet and sour fruits awaits you. Or maybe some that taste great but then trigger allergic reactions? Get ready for a variety of surprise guests and discursive humor. In a dazzlingly decorated room by the Agentur für materielle Gespinste, with lively piano accompaniment and our Stuttgart-based Konstantin Wecker, Peter Luttringer, on the guitar, we go in search of the connections between humor and politics.
In addition to a juicy fruit platter of performing arts, there will be deep insights with guests from politics and science:
16.06.: Ricarda Lang (MP), Alex Maier (Mayor of Göppingen), Cassis Kilian (anthropologist, NoJoke Goethe University Frankfurt)
22.06.: Erwin Köhler (MdL BW), Sara Dahme (GR Stuttgart), Simone Rafael (freelance journalist with a focus on digital right-wing extremism and net politics)
23.06.: Maxime Van Velzen (Green Youth Mannheim), Holger Marcks (Machine Against the Rage / Network against online hate and disinformation, Institute for Democracy and Civil Society)
In addition to us, Peter Luttringer behind the guitar, Beate Klose behind the grand piano, Athanasios Lampropoulos behind the steering wheel of the E-Porsch, Jule Lotte Bröcker behind a mask, Hannah Liya & Sophia Sadzakov behind standardized boxes, Mayha Suaysom drawing behind post-its in the room and two changing special guests behind changing props.
It also gets humorously political with guests from politics and science, different every evening, new every evening.
In cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg.
Supported by the LaFT BW, the state capital Stuttgart and the Freie Tanz- und Theaterszene Stuttgart.
