Die Macht der Sprache

A hands-on festival for children and young people

For two days, everything revolves around literary writing and speaking. A colorful selection of writing workshops and language games will get children and young people trying things out. We use our language for funny word nonsense, exciting stories from real life and for things that have never been written before! We invite you to a magical language journey for children aged 9 to 12 with Thomas Richhardt, to a hands-on matinee for children aged 8 to 12 with Timo Brunke, to a poetry course for young people aged 11 to 18, to a journalistic challenge for young people aged 14 to 18 with Tilman Rau and to a story remix & more for young people aged 13 to 18 with Ulrike Wörner, Yves Noir and Romina Nikolić. On both days, there will be an exhibition of current favorite books by children and young people parallel to the workshops.
