The Theater in der Badewanne invites you to The Silent Night by TheaterFusion: Two angels discover the true meaning of Christmas, full of wonder, heart and humor, as they bring the ancient story of the birth of Christ to life. To be seen at the Theater in der Badewanne in Stuttgart.
A Christmas angel and a guardian angel get into an argument about whether Christmas is the most beautiful or the most stressful time of the year. While the Christmas angel takes great pleasure in spreading the festive spirit, the guardian angel is exhausted by the hectic busyness and carelessness of people. They spread out their angelic cloaks and act out the Christmas story, told from the perspective of the innkeeper at the Bethlehem inn.
All the citizens are traveling to the great census. The inn is hopelessly overcrowded. Late in the evening, a man arrives with his heavily pregnant wife, to whom the innkeeper gives the last place to stay, the stable. After that, he can no longer rest: three shepherds, three kings, the evening star and the archangel disturb his sleep until his patience is at an end and he wants to throw them all out. Furious, he trudges to the stable. But the sight of the newborn child warms his heart.
A little piece of Christmas.
