Die Wunderkugel

The Theater in der Badewanne is showing "Die Wunderkugel", a poetic picture and shadow theater with live music: A child finds a mysterious ball that grants a wish and experiences how wishes work in a changed world. The production with sand painting invites children aged 5 and over to marvel.

You have a wish ... What would you wish for?

Milu, a child from a distant land, finds a miracle ball one day. It grants a wish to anyone who holds it in their hands - but only one wish! What should Milu wish for? Milu simply can't decide ...

However, when the ball ends up in the hands of the adults, the previously tranquil life in the village changes rapidly. But are people happier now?

Jean and Sandrine tell this old fairy tale as poetic picture theater, in which the children discover the magical interplay of images and music. They watch the artist as she draws pictures in the sand. These appear on a large canvas. The artist moves her shadow figures in the pictures, making the story visible.

The musician accompanies this wondrous experience with piano and celesta glockenspiel.
