EHLERS-ROSENOW & friends (presented by HMDK Stuttgart)

The quartet around bassist Johanna Ehlers (Stuttgart) and drummer Aaron Rosenow (Copenhagen) challenges itself in a classical line-up with an experimental aesthetic and open compositions.

For the concert, they have invited the singer Vivien Zippert (Stuttgart) and the pianist Oskar Rimmele (Stuttgart), with whom they will ask questions about the sound world in which their music takes place.

When do the sounds actually stop? What colors do we not choose and what noise is beautiful? What is loud and when is quiet? When is the sound really over and what is there, in the moment between silence and noise? Who is quiet and when is loud? Is the duration of a sound only the length? In which directions does music move and if so, how many?
