It's Lieselotte the cow's birthday! But things are strangely quiet on the farm. Is no one making birthday preparations? The farmer's wife hasn't baked a birthday cake and the garden isn't festively decorated. Have none of her friends thought of Lieselotte's birthday? Lieselotte sadly collects a few candles, puts on her birthday hat from last year and steals a piece of rusk from the kitchen. Dejected and all alone, Lieselotte trots down to the stream. And there, a lavish surprise party awaits her with all her friends.
