To mark the occasion, Roland Baisch has invited some of his companions to present this book in a colorful show.

They will include: Vanessa Baisch and Sari Mäkele (acrobatics), Otto Kuhnle (everything impossible), Clemens Winterhalter (piano and contemporary witness), Frank Wekenmann (guitar and also contemporary witness), Jürgen Seibold (words and song) and lots of surprise guests.

Mr. Baisch's journey began with the miracle of his birth, which was so mysterious that it is still celebrated today in his home town with an annual folk festival as the Miracle of Ehingen. At the center of this comedic and musical evening of readings are texts that Roland Baisch draws from his own life's journey as a magnificently embellished portrait of the customs of post-war western Germany.

He only just escaped the stuffy muff of his youth with the help of music and entertainment on a journey into the unknown: "Ein Junge namens Renate" (A Boy Named Renate) is a bursting grab bag of songs and stories that touch the heart and plenty of humor off the beaten comedy track. Baron Münchhausen meets the serious side of life, Johnny Cash meets Frank Sinatra and Harald Juhnke.

Roland Baisch has been a comedian from the very beginning, with no expiration date. Scherbentheater, Shy Guys, Otto Kuhnle/Roland Baisch, KGB, Männerabend, Count Baischy Orchester and Comedy Factory were just some of his projects. Roland Baisch is the patron of the international comedy award "Der Goldene Roland" and was the only member of the jury for several years, as well as a lifetime achievement award winner and winner of the young talent award. But that's another story.
