Camille Saint-Saën's "Carnival of the Animals" is as versatile as France itself and has delighted young and old alike for centuries. In this very special word-sound concert version, for audiences of all ages, the audible animals come straight from Stuttgart's Wilhelma and come to life to the sounds of French music. With charm, wit and excitement, Timo Brunke eloquently tells the story of the animals to music, performed by the Stuttgart ENSEMBLE BALANCE. French song gems for soprano, musical works for solo clarinet and for violin-piano duo round off the listening experience and a truly colorful firework display of music can be heard.
The concert is also explicitly suitable for families and children.
