The Institut français Stuttgart celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2026. The anniversary celebrations and the French Weeks 2026 will be opened with a festive gala in the Mozart Hall of the Liederhalle with music, theater and Franco-German esprit. The evening will be hosted by cabaret artist Alfons, who will take the audience on a journey through 75 years of shared history with subtle humor and personal anecdotes.

A select ensemble of regional and international artists, who are particularly committed to Franco-German cultural projects, will create a varied program between tradition and the present. They include the cello quartet Almaviva from the Stuttgart Opera, director Monika Gintersdorfer together with the French-Ivorian company La Fleur as well as pianist and composer Gérard Daguerre, long-time musical accompanist to singer Barbara, and his daughter Muriel Daguerre (vocals).

The evening is being organized in cooperation with the music agency Toccata Europe, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.

A special anniversary evening in the spirit of Franco-German friendship.
