The exhibition highlights the connection between Stuttgart and the Greek Revolution of 1821, showing how the Swabian "philhellenes" supported the Greek struggle for freedom and showed solidarity with Greek refugees.
The exhibition presents historical facsimiles and audiovisual content to bring Stuttgart's roots in philhellenism to life. The exhibition will open on the eve of the Greek independence celebrations in Stuttgart on May 3 and can be visited free of charge until June 29, 2025.

Panel discussion by the curators Konstantinos Kachrimanidis and Zino Preis (with consecutive translation)
The opening will be accompanied by music from the Culture of Peace Ensemble.
