EROS & RAMAZOTTI
- Location:
- Renitenztheater, Büchsenstr. 26, 70174 Stuttgart
When Eros Falsoletti entered the Eurovision Song Contest for Italy, he had no idea how this performance would change his life: there were only 3 minutes between national hope and a vertical fall into insignificance. And how incredibly long can a song be if you can't remember the lyrics?
Having hit rock bottom artistically, he now earns his living together with his pianist Luigi Ramazotti in a small hotel on the Adriatic coast with bland pop songs. As a gigolo for German bus tourists! But for Ramazotti, one thing is clear: when Eros sings Italian again with his verve and temperament, the world will be open to them.
Ramazotti's plan takes the duo through breathtaking turbulence, to fantastic heights and into an absolute state of emergency. And now the dream of a great international career seems within reach....
Eros & Ramazotti is a dazzling musical comedy full of passion, humor and great emotions. Told with the great hits of Italy - by Adriano Celentano, Paolo Conte, Lucio Dalla, Louis Prima, Mina and many more. An evening that will make your heart beat faster.
Sung and played by two top-class artists who are well known on the German theater scene: Tommaso Cacciapuoti and Dietmar Loeffler.
Tommaso Cacciapuoti
Half Finnish, half Italian, but actually from Berlin. After drama school, he ended up at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, the Staatstheater Schwerin and then for a few years at the Hamburg TV veterans "Großstadtrevier" and "Praxis Bülowbogen". In Hamburg, he plays at the Hamburger Kammerspiele, the Altonaer Theater, Winterhuder Fährhaus, Polittbüro (in Uwe Timm's story 'Am Beispiel meines Bruders') and for many years at Hamburg's "Jedermann". Since "Männerbeschaffungsmaßnahmen" by Dietmar Loeffler, he has sung his heart out in a number of productions.
Dietmar Loeffler
A full Swabian from Tübingen who has lost his heart to and in Italy. And fortunately to the theater. He wrote and directed the Italian comedy "Pasta e Basta" for the Hamburg Kammerspiele, which has had over 300 performances to date. As a pianist, actor, author and director, Loeffler is one of the most versatile artists on the German theater scene. He was musical director and stage director at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Theater Bremen, Hamburger Schauspielhaus, Thalia-Theater Hamburg, Schlossparktheater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Deutsches Theater Berlin.
