Presentation and discussion with Patricia Illanes Wilhelm

The importance of weaving in a country as culturally diverse as Bolivia: we listen to excerpts from the novel The Eternal Wanderer by the writer Manuel Vargas Severiche. The protagonist, daughter of an Aymara mother and an Uru father, tells us about her life's journey and opens up new perspectives.

Patricia Illanes Wilhelm studied economics at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in Bolivia and regional planning at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). She works for the Dachverband Entwicklungspolitik Baden-Württemberg e. V. (DEAB) and deals with current issues relating to her home country.
