Escape (AT) (Bachelorarbeit)

The forest air is almost motionless, a light mist lies over the ground and small animals rustle. The hunter searches for his prey with full attention. When he spots it in the distance, he takes concentrated aim - and shoots!

"Escape" (AT) begins (like every good story) with the beginning: the emergence of civilization. With the story of the first hunt, the first symbolic moment of patriarchal narrative and identity formation. The storyteller of Escape attempts to reinterpret this origin story using the language of puppet theater - through associative thinking, changes of perspective, dialogue with objects and materials, awkwardness and absurdity.
Trigger warning: The sound of a machine gun will be heard.
