In 1986, Swedish rock icons EUROPE released their breakthrough third album "The Final Countdown", which catapulted the group to international fame, with the title single reaching #1 in 25 countries worldwide. The multi-platinum album topped the charts internationally, with four Top 40 singles and over 60 weeks on the American Billboard charts.
Due to the song's continued success in the digital age, the band received an award from YouTube in 2022 as the first Swedish band to ever achieve a MILLIION views for a single song... and of course the number continues to rise, as it stands at almost 1.4 billion views to date.

The band is one of the few artists to have retained their classic line-up, and their 12th studio album will also be released in 2026. The album, whose title is not yet known, was recorded in October 2025 at RMV Studios in Stockholm with the famous producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, The Pixies, Royal Blood, Opeth).
Joey Tempest: "In the blink of an eye, 40 years have passed and we're about to play TFC in full for the second time in our career, along with other hits and our favorite songs from our upcoming album.
It's going to be fantastic - we're working on making the production and show live up to this very special occasion."
