Worship service in affected and gender-sensitive language
Those who have experienced sexualized violence are particularly invited - a shock that often leaves people speechless because perpetrators isolate themselves and those around them often react with disbelief or look the other way.
At the same time, the service is aimed at all those who suffer from patriarchal structures and experience exclusion because their identity or reality of life has no place in a non-gender-sensitive environment. When the church or society dictates who is "right", wounds arise through discrimination and mistrust.
The theme "Choose life" is intended to open up a protected space that does not conceal the reality of violence and the pain of patriarchal narrowness.
