YEARS OF ROCK ME AMADEUS - LIVE on Screen
In March 1986, FALCO stormed the US Billboard charts and the British Top 40 with "Rock Me Amadeus", making music history in the process. To this day, it remains the first and only German-language song to reach these top positions. Now - 40 years later - this event is being duly celebrated with a very special concert tour. With original recordings from FALCO's career, Falco's original band, together with local star soloists, will bring the original sound to stages in Austria and Germany in the fall of 2025.
In addition to bandleader, keyboardist and companion Thomas Rabitsch, the band features Bernhard Rabitsch (trumpet and percussion), Robert Pistracher (bass), Peter Paul Skrepek (guitar), Peter Vieweger (guitar) and Florian Holoubek (drums) on stage. 40 years after Rock Me Amadeus, FALCO conquers the halls again on a large LED wall. In addition, Thomas Rabitsch has put together an exclusive line-up of special guests who will present the legendary hits in a completely new dimension with surprising duets. To mark the 40th anniversary of the song that catapulted him to the top of the international charts, the audience can look forward to a very special production with an authentic and high-quality Austrian sound and sing along to the global hit together: "He was a superstar, he was so popular, he was so exalted, because he had flair, he was a virtuoso, was a rock idol, and everything shouted: come on Rock Me Amadeus".
