FALCO MEETS AMADEUS

"The Inspector" is back! After hundreds of performances, countless sold-out shows and over half a million enthusiastic visitors, the makers of "FALCO - The Musical" are now bringing the latest masterpiece from the creative team around leading actor Alexander Kerbst on tour and reviving the myth once again: "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" tells the story of two absolute exceptions in music history in an equally visually stunning and eccentric way, combining all the great Falco hits live with the exciting story of the legendary Viennese. The sensational new stage show provides a deep insight into the thoughts and feelings of the artist and the person behind the dazzling pop icon and pays tribute to the great life's work of the "Falcon". In 2026, "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" will go on a major premiere tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

"I'll only be immortal when I'm dead!" The new homage to the greatest genius in German-language pop and rap history revolves around these dark, foreboding words. "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" is a gripping and deeply moving musical journey through the formative stages in the life of this striking musician - a man who savored life to its limits and went through many highs and lows, even to the point of self-destruction.

Over 60 million records sold, an almost limitless number of sold-out concerts worldwide and the only German-language song to top the American charts to date made Falco the most internationally successful Austrian musician of all time alongside Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In his No. 1 song "Rock Me Amadeus", he sings about Mozart's popularity, debts and his relationship with women - parallels that can be attributed to Falco himself as well as his "rock idol". As a turning point in Falco's career, the song should of course not be missing from the new edition of "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS". In addition to "Rock Me Amadeus" and their origins, there are many other similarities between the two musical geniuses: both were far ahead of their time, created their own unique musical style and thus shaped the music of their time like no one else; two complex and controversial characters between genius and madness and two lives lived to excess, both of which came to an end far too soon. Falco died at the age of 40 in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, while Mozart died at the young age of 35 from a fiery fever. Both lived mainly in Vienna and were also laid to rest there. They will live on forever in the hearts of their fans and their musical legacy ultimately made them immortal. The song selection in this spectacular show experience ranges from all the great Falco hits such as "Der Kommissar", "Vienna Calling", "Jeanny" or "Out of the Dark" to early successes such as "Ganz Wien", impressive titles such as "Emotional" or "Coming Home", some unjustly forgotten titles and the song "Europa", which is once again very topical today. The homage brings the "Falken" back on stage and presents all the songs live with a five-piece band and outstanding performers. Shrill and extravagant interludes from the dance ensemble breathe new life into the songs and round off the stage spectacle wonderfully.
