An introduction to genealogical research with a guided tour of the Stuttgart Main State Archives

Are you looking for your ancestors? Do you want to get to know your "historical relatives"? Do you want to know how your ancestors lived 100, 200 or 300 years ago? Do you have a detective's instinct? Then you've come to the right place!
In a workshop, we will teach you the basics of genealogical work and research and present you with selected sources from the Stuttgart Main State Archives in which genealogical information can be expected. During a subsequent guided tour of the archive, you can also take a look behind the scenes and see unique originals from the "Württemberg treasure trove".
