Location:
TREFFPUNKT Rotebühlplatz, Rotebühlplatz 28, 70173 Stuttgart
Date

The presentation highlights the opportunities and challenges of green hydrogen as an energy source of the future and presents key arguments for and against its use. It will explain how it works, what role it can play in the energy transition and what hurdles still need to be overcome.

Green hydrogen is described as the champagne of the energy transition, but also as an absolute necessity. The presentation will examine the various arguments for and against green hydrogen and highlight the opportunities and challenges of this energy source. Green hydrogen is produced without greenhouse gases through the electrolysis of water with renewable electricity and could decarbonize sectors that have been difficult to reach up to now. The presentation will explain key aspects in an understandable way: how could it work, what hurdles need to be overcome?
