Women in particular limit their employment to care for children or relatives in need of care. This has consequences for their pension. Two advisors from Deutsche Rentenversicherung explain what women can do to put themselves in a good financial position in old age.
Nina Schuster, advisor at the German Pension Insurance (DRV), and Martina Dambacher, pension consultant at the DRV, explain in their presentation which periods are relevant for the pension and how part-time work, mini-jobs etc. affect the pension. Divorce and the death of a partner are also topics covered by the two advisors.
The event is part of a financial series specifically for women. It is organized by the Equal Opportunities Department of the City of Stuttgart. The series supports women on their path to financial education and independence. The series provides practical knowledge on key financial topics free of charge.
