Kunstverein Wagenhalle and Offene Hilfen Stuttgart invite you to a series of creative workshops! Guided by artists from the Kunstverein, children, teenagers and young adults, with and without disabilities, have the opportunity to develop their creativity together.

Free work with wood with Stephan Köperl

In this workshop we develop our ideas by doing. Different pieces of wood form the starting material and various tools the means with which the object that the individual participants desire is produced through imagination and experimentation.

While exploring the material and tools such as saws, rasps or drills, as well as the possibilities of connecting them with express glue, nails, screws or cords, the most diverse ideas quickly emerge, which are then further developed and implemented in dialog
.

New accents can be added with colors and fabrics, so that in the end everyone can present their individual work of art or utility object to the others and take it home with them.

For those who find it difficult to come up with their own ideas, there are also objects available to recreate. For example, a postcard stand or a treasure chest, which can then be individually designed and painted.
