FRIDGE PEOPLE • presented by IG Jazz

Free-flowing fusion in the best jazz tradition is an apt description of this quintet's music. Some of the five musicians know each other from their jazz studies at the Mannheim University of Music and have been working together for many years.

Even if the instrumental responsibilities are clearly divided, FRIDGE PEOPLE are always concerned with the shared, collective sound, which in turn is so compact that the individual dissolves into an indivisible whole. With plenty of room for development and great confidence, the jazz musicians embrace each other's ideas and constantly surprise each other anew. The result is usually an arc of tension between energetic and relaxed moments within the framework of melodic original compositions.

On stage, FRIDGE PEOPLE ignite musical fireworks with driving beats, expressive soundscapes and cool improvisations whose strong energy and passion leave no leg still and no head cool. Be there!
