Mia Paulus curated the special exhibition "Ballet Miracle" as a scientific volunteer and offers an insight into the creation of the exhibition with her guided tour.
At the center of the narrative is the worldwide appeal of Stuttgart dance. The special exhibition combines historical information about the Stuttgart Ballet with an immersive experience of dance and movement in space. Using costumes, stage designs and a large-scale light and video projection, the history of the Stuttgart Ballet comes to life in the StadtPalais.
The special exhibition "Ballet Miracle" tells the story of the past and present of ballet in Stuttgart. The focus is on the worldwide appeal of Stuttgart dance. The special exhibition combines the historical narrative of Stuttgart ballet with an immersive experience of dance and movement in space.
In cooperation with the Stuttgart Ballet, the StadtPalais is now paying tribute to the importance of ballet for the state capital. 2026 marks the 65th anniversary of John Cranko's arrival in Stuttgart. 2027 would have been his 100th birthday. The time after John Cranko and the work of his successors Glen Tetley, Marcia Haydée, Reid Anderson and Tamas Detrich is told for the first time in a historical exhibition.
