Gabriel Bianco is a passionate musician who is not only known as a soloist, but also devotes himself enthusiastically to chamber music. Whether on the modern or the romantic guitar, his repertoire includes the great works of his instrument as well as less frequently played pieces.
Gabriel Bianco, born in Paris in 1988, graduated in classical guitar in 2008 and in chamber music in 2015 from the Conservatoire de Paris. After winning the 1. After winning first prize in the prestigious international competition of the Guitar Foundation of America in 2008, he began his solo career, which has taken him to around fifty countries: He has played in prestigious halls such as the Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris), the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), the Herbst Theater (San Francisco), the Luis Ángel Arango Auditorium (Bogotá), the Central Conservatory (Beijing), the Musashino Art Center and Yamaha Hall (Tokyo), the Philharmonic Hall in Kiev and the Opera in Zurich. Gabriel Bianco has been teaching classical guitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory since 2018. He gives masterclasses at the Royal College in London, the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique in Paris, the Manhattan School in New York, the Central Conservatory in Beijing, the Conservatory of Music in Melbourne and the Universities of Arizona and Florida.
