GameZone – Internationales Trickfilm-Festival (ITFS)

The GameZone of the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film opens its doors to interactive game worlds at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. Visitors can play the five titles nominated for the "Animated Games Award Germany", which is awarded annually to outstanding animated games from German developer studios. The program is complemented by student work from the Stuttgart Media University, the Merz Akademie and the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. The results of the international game jam "Fighting Disinformation", which takes place in Stuttgart immediately before the festival, will also be shown. Additional installations offer a variety of opportunities to experience and discover. The exhibition combines animation, art and games and is aimed at a broad audience with an interest in digital media and interactive forms of experience.
