GAST is a two-piece post-punk band from Tübingen. Tim and Linus embellish unconventional arrangements with analog new wave sounds from vintage electronics, choral walls of sound, and painful, honest German lyrics. Following the huge success of their debut single “fallen,” their self-titled EP was released in November 2022. Their second EP, “kaputt gehen,” was released with great fanfare in September 2023—the release show turned into an artistic box performance. On this EP, GAST showcase their full musical range, from techno-inspired beats to indie guitars, proving that they transcend a single genre.
The duo had already performed on the showcase stages of the Reeperbahn and Kiezkultur festivals in the fall of 2023, as well as in front of sold-out audiences at headline shows. In November 2024, GAST embarked on their own tour with TEER: “GAST küsst TEER.”
