The Friends of the Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg invite you to a conference at the Haus der Geschichte on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 6 pm. It is about the history of the Greens in the southwest. Admission is free.

In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Silke Mende (University of Heidelberg) will focus on the reasons for the remarkable success of the Greens in a German federal state. She will be followed by a panel discussion with Prof. Wolf-Dieter Hasenclever, the first parliamentary leader of the Greens in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament, and Prof. Dr. Wolfram Pyta, Chairman of the Freundeskreis.
Admission is free.
