The German Red Cross Stuttgart District Association cordially invites you to the traveling exhibition "Geneva Conventions - Humanity in War". It offers visitors the opportunity to take an in-depth look at the principles of international humanitarian law.
The Geneva Conventions, which were adopted in 1949, form the basis for the protection of people in armed conflicts. They set out how prisoners of war, wounded soldiers and civilians must be treated and emphasize the need for humanity, even in the most difficult times. The exhibition sheds light on the principles and significance of these conventions and shows that they are still relevant today.
