Gentleman

His career is unique: Gentleman has brought reggae in and from Germany to the international stage. For more than three decades, the Cologne native has been writing music history as the only European to celebrate worldwide success as an authentic reggae musician. Now Gentleman is bringing tracks such as "Superior", "To the Top", "You Remember" and "Devam" to Monheim Summer 2025 and will conjure up joie de vivre, sun and sea on the imaginary Caribbean beach of the Bürgerwiese Baumberg.

His authentic style and clear messages, whether in German or English, packaged in catchy melodies, have made Gentleman a unique symbol of reggae vibes "Made in Germany" over the years. He has received multiple platinum and gold awards and has been in the German Top 100 singles charts more than twenty times. His own edition of "MTV Unplugged" alone proves his unique position as an international superstar. The albums "Confidence" and "Diversity" reached the number one position in the German album charts. Gentleman has been traveling to Jamaica regularly since he was 18 and even calls it his second home. His current album "Mad World" takes him back to his musical roots and beyond at the same time. Gentleman's reggae doesn't sound backwards, but like a new sound that fits the new times.
