Lia Littera looks after the numerous books in the city library. She does this very carefully until she makes a mistake. In order to memorize a certain passage in a magic book, she bends the page a little. The magic book doesn't like this at all, so Lia Littera has it shrunk without further ado. It's a good thing that two children who want to borrow books help the librarian. To do so, they have to find the ingredients for a secret magic potion. Not an easy task, and they also encounter a terrifying monster that the children make themselves out of a bag.
