Molly and Sam are the perfect couple and madly in love with each other. But one evening the unthinkable happens: the two are attacked and Sam is killed by a supposed petty criminal. As a ghost, he remains trapped in an intermediate world, but he can neither be seen by the living nor can he intervene in the events. Only the medium Oda Mae Brown can hear him. With her help, he tries to get in touch with Molly. In the process, he discovers that his death was no accident and that his girlfriend is in great danger.
