Grundkurs 1: Ins Erzählen kommen!

Ars Narrandi e. V. is starting a basic course for oral storytelling with 6 modules on January 18, 2026. In the first course, you will discover with Soheila Hosseini how stories can emerge spontaneously.

Stories are everywhere: they want to be heard, discovered and reinvented again and again. "Put honey on your lips and catch it!" - Because those who tell stories capture life in words and often only then realize how exciting it can be.

Discover together with Soheila Hosseini how stories can emerge spontaneously - playful, humorous, committed and full of enthusiasm. And above all: how much fun it is!

Soheila Hosseini comes from Iran, a country with a rich and poetic storytelling tradition. She brings Persian fairy tales and diverse stories to life with wit and passion. At the same time, she loves to encourage other people to give free rein to their imagination and discover their own love of storytelling.

A basic course with 6 units - the basics of storytelling step by step

Learn to tell stories spontaneously and vividly - without a text, but with full presence and creativity. In this basic course, you will learn and develop the basics of free storytelling.

22 February - The secret of a good story: structure & dramaturgy (André Wülfing)
22 March - Words that paint pictures: language & images (Odile Néri-Kaiser)
17 May - Let the story dance inside you: body & movement (Sawako Nunotani & Ismene Schell)
14 June - Freeing the story from the text: Free storytelling without text
19. July - Voice (Mechthild Hettich)

The courses take place on Sundays from 10 am - 5 pm in the Global Classroom, Welthaus Stuttgart.

STORYTELLING ACADEMY

Telling stories aloud means approaching others step by step, word by word - those who listen to us. It means taking them "by the ear", moving forward together and dancing on the same clearings of inner images in the same breath. The moment someone begins to speak aloud in front of others, a secret is born: something that we recognize as the best of being human is shared with complete openness and great grace. For a moment, a bond is created.

To touch another person with a single word - that is an act of peace and a declaration of love for life itself.
