When we tell stories with all our senses, they come alive and take on color and flavor. With a little practice, we develop the necessary sense of which senses fit well where in the story. A workshop with Gudrun Rathke
If we combine the senses with our own memories, our storytelling will take on a tangible depth, ignite the spark and engage our listeners, no matter how old they are!
Please bring a story that you would like to work on. It should be no longer than five minutes.
Gudrun Rathke, who was born in Austria, has lived in Hesse for many years and tells stories for people of all ages and in (almost) any place. She is also very fond of walking up and down the country. She loves the direct encounters, the human closeness that comes with storytelling. Since 2012, she has been running the Sparda storytelling festival in Kassel, which is now in its fifth year and can also be heard in the ARD Audiothek with many stories.
