Vernissage at the InterArt Gallery
The three bright, open rooms of Galerie Interart are ideal for various groups of works. The nature paintings show sections of landscapes such as wheat fields, skies and tree bark in realistic oil paintings. These impressions of nature are combined with color paintings in various formats.
The central exhibition space of the Interart Gallery lends itself to various metaphorical, playful ideas. The life-size object "Ludwig" (crown height exactly 1.92 m) shows an old photograph of the famous Bavarian king in an aquarium filled with now evaporated Starnberg lake water. There are also several smaller linocuts, such as "Scrapyard for crashed castles in the air", inspired by Neuschwanstein Castle.
