With his current stage program "Halt die Fresse, Rapunzel!", PIERO has created a genre that has never existed before: a comedy show with animated characters who engage in a pointed, verbal exchange of blows with their creator - much to the chagrin of the entertainer, but all the funnier for the audience.
PIERO is one of the most prominent cartoonists in Germany. In 2025, he won three prestigious prizes: the St. Ingberter Pfanne, 1st place at the German Cartoon Prize and 3rd place at the German Cartoon Prize.
PIERO combines cartoon art, animation and stand-up to create a unique stage form that has never been seen before - fast, intelligent and damn entertaining.
