Virtuoso improvisations in the spirit of funk, fusion and jazz-rock Led by Stuttgart pianist and composer Hannes Stollsteimer, an integral part of the successful "Jakob Manz Project", the quartet combines pulsating beats, catchy melodies and expressive improvisations.
The individuality of the four musicians is reflected in the diversity of their original compositions and creates a highly dynamic band sound in the spirit of funk, fusion and jazz-rock. The band is particularly looking forward to returning to Stuttgart's BIX after releasing their album "Live at BIX" in May 2025, which was recorded during their debut tour at the legendary Stuttgart jazz club.
In addition to Hannes Stollsteimer, the ensemble consists of bassist Frieder Klein, also from "The Jakob Manz Project", guitarist Philipp "Humbi" Humburg from Essen and drummer Christin Neddens from Hamburg. All four bring with them an impressive CV and experience from the German and international jazz scene.
Pianist Stollsteimer is one of the most sought-after in southern Germany and has already performed at renowned festivals such as the Leverkusener Jazztage and JazzBaltica.
Humburg was awarded the "Outstanding Player" Achievement Award at the renowned G.I.T. in Los Angeles and has played in the supporting programs of stars such as Stanley Clarke, Pat Martino and Steve Gadd.
Stuttgart bassist Klein impresses with his contrasting playing between calm and virtuosity, while Neddens has been a guest at international festivals from Finland to South Africa.
The Hannes Stollsteimer Interfusion Quartet promises a rousing and electrifying experience!
