Hardline is an American rock band that was founded in 1992. Known for their blend of hard rock and melodic metal, they first caused a stir in 1992 with their debut album Double Eclipse. The original line-up consisted of powerful vocalist Johnny Gioeli, guitarist Neal Schon (from Journey) and drummer Deen Castronovo (also from Journey). This stellar line-up contributed to the band's early success and gave their music a sophisticated, commercial sound.
The band is still active today and is known for its passionate live shows. The exceptional singer Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell, among others) is still at the center. Hardline will be touring Europe with a new album in April 2026.
