Heaven 17
Although Heaven 17 were not actually planned as a group, they are now an integral part of music history.
They were founded by Martyn Ware, who was known for the Human League and later even became the producer for Tina Turner.
And they took off straight away: their first album "Penthouse And Pavement" went gold in the UK charts after 14 weeks and is still a modern classic today. With songs like "Let's All Make A Bomb" and "Song With No Name", Heaven 17 is still the best of British synth pop today.
Influenced by bands like Kraftwerk, the band was a project full of passion and creativity, where the musicians had full control over the music and its representation, and this is also reflected in the songs.
With their album "The Luxury Gap", they created a pop masterpiece with which they conquered the international charts. They almost broke the UK Top 40 with the song "Let Me Go". Also on the album: the song "Temptation", which was later released as a single and for many is THE song of the 80s.
Martyn Ware himself says about it: "Every show we do, in every circumstance and with every demographic, it just always works." Simply a hit in music history.
Now they are coming to Germany with their "Temptation" Tour 2025 and bringing their hits to the stage for you!
Be there when Heaven 17 performs a total of four decades of music history and gets you dancing with their synthesizer sounds.
