Heimat und Identität – eine Spurensuche

Home can be a landscape, a sense of belonging, rooted in memories and traditions. Identity is formed through interaction with the environment and cultural influences.

Home and identity are closely linked - How? Why? What follows from this? In cooperation with the Haus der Heimat des Landes Baden-Württemberg, 37 students from the graphic design vocational college at the Johannes-Gutenberg-Schule Stuttgart (JGS) explored these questions creatively and artistically. They researched, verbalized ideas and developed supporting imagery for their poster messages. Their social posters use a variety of graphic design techniques: illustration, collage, photography, typography and lettering.
