Feeling at home - making emotional states of belonging visible with Avra Emin
What does it mean to feel a sense of belonging - or not?
The workshop "Feeling at home" invites you to understand home not as a place, but as an emotional experience: as a state of security, resonance, lostness or inner arrival. The aim is to make individual and collective feelings of home visible - beyond origin, passport or affiliation categories.
The workshop is also explicitly aimed at associations, initiatives and groups that deal with identity, community, empowerment or social coexistence. It offers a space for exchange, artistic exploration and new perspectives on the topic of home - as something that affects everyone.
Through biographical impulses, creative methods and open dialog, participants explore individual states of "home" - including those that are contradictory, fragmented or difficult to grasp. This results in personal forms of expression: Memory objects, visual fragments or intuitive installations that can be read as an emotional trace.
The workshop is also suitable for groups that deal with topics such as queer identity, social rootedness, psychological well-being, culture of remembrance or exclusion - and creates a resonance space for diverse experiences of "home".
Target group: Associations, initiatives, community projects and individuals with an interest in emotional self-positioning, artistic expression and collective reflection.
