Inti-Illimani Histórico on European Tour
Shortly before its 60th anniversary, the legendary Chilean band will perform in Stuttgart on September 11. This concert marks the kickoff of the celebrations that will define the year 2027 for the group.
Horacio Salinas, composer and musical director since 1967; José Seves, singer and composer; and Horacio Durán, master of the charango—three musicians from the historic and creative core of Inti-Illimani Histórico—will share the stage with Pedro Villagra on wind instruments, Fernando Julio on double bass, percussionist Danilo Donoso, and multi-instrumentalist Cristián Mancilla on stage.
One of the best music groups in the world—as described by the famous classical guitarist John Williams—and at the same time an ensemble that has always stood on the side of life, its defense, freedom, and the struggle for it.
As The Washington Post wrote as early as 1983: “Inti-Illimani is the music and folklore of an imaginary country.”
This concert is also one of the highlights of the 2026 European tour and offers the audience in Stuttgart the extraordinary opportunity to experience live an artistic production conceived specifically for this special venue.
