Holiday Jump

The SWR Big Band is celebrating its 75th anniversary - and invites you to the next highlight of its anniversary year: at the first "Holiday Jump" on Stuttgart's Killesberg, the Bürger Freilichtbühne will become the stage for an extraordinary musical summer night. Together with numerous top-class guests, the SWR Big Band will present an open-air experience full of energy, stylistic diversity and great voices.

Under the musical direction of Magnus Lindgren, Artist in Residence of the SWR Big Band, a program will be created that playfully transcends musical boundaries. The audience can look forward to a unique mixture of soul, pop, jazz, swing, rock and pop songs - interpreted by outstanding artists.

The line-up includes Max Mutzke, Fola Dada, Dieter Thomas Kuhn, Fools Garden, Ida Sand, Joo Kraus and Jakob Manz. Together with the SWR Big Band, they will create an evening that impressively demonstrates the stylistic range and international class of the ensemble.

Against the atmospheric backdrop of the Bürger Freilichtbühne, the "Holiday Jump" will be a big big band party for the whole family: from soulful grooves and rousing hits to Grammy-nominated jazz and swing. The SWR Big Band once again underlines its claim to be one of the best big bands in the world.

The "Holiday Jump" is also the perfect way to kick off the summer vacations in Baden-Württemberg - a musical festival that transforms a Wednesday evening on the Killesberg into an unforgettable experience.
