When seven musicians decide not just to play funk, but to live it, the result is an explosive thunderstorm of sound that is second to none: Hot Damn Horns & The Soul Machine are back - with a new album, new energy and their very own vision of instrumental funk & soul.
With "Turn Up The Heat", the seven exceptional musicians ignite their hottest sound fireworks yet. The brand new record is a tribute to the groove, packed with danceable beats, virtuoso solos and the irrepressible joy of playing for which the band has long been known.

As always, the infamous "Hot Damn Horns" take center stage: Christian Mück (trumpet), Christoph Beck (saxophone) and Florian Seeger (trombone) serve up horn sections with razor-sharp riffs, breakneck "doits" and an analog punch that makes any electronic horn sound look pale.

The whole thing is carried by a rhythm section that grooves like Swiss clockwork on funk steroids: Christoph Neuhaus (guitar), Lukas Großmann (organ), Alex Uhl (electric bass) and Eckhard Stromer (drums) form the foundation for rousing original compositions that won't make you stand still.

Whether new tracks like "Duck Race" and "Give It A Try" or tried and tested crowd favorites like "Do The Didi Dance" - the motto of the evening is clear: Turn Up The Heat - and dig out your dancing shoes!
