With plenty of humor and enthusiasm, the six musicians of the I AM FROM AUSTRIA show—Mathias “Hias” Rasch (vocals, guitar), Manuel Gramüller (vocals, guitar), Florian Oberhorner (vocals, guitar), Robert Ertl (drums), Bernhard Schmied (electric bass), and Reiner Winterstetter (accordion, keyboard)—set off a fireworks display of hits on stage. This entertaining and touching musical journey takes the audience through the inexhaustible repertoire of hits from the Austrian music scene. The best of Austro-pop history—lots of emotion, but also lots of fun!
The musicians succeed in authentically presenting to the audience the unique sound of the many Austrian artists whose songs are covered throughout the evening. The setlist includes classics such as STS’s “Fürstenfeld,” Ambros’s “Skifoan,” Fendrich’s “Weilst a Herz host,” and “Macho, Macho”—an outstanding mix of selected tracks from Austrian music history!
